"HURRICANE RELIEF"
In the aftermath of several natural disasters, the best way to help the victims is also the simplest:
send money. Do not try to collect miscellaneous donations of food,
water, clothing or baby items. Relief agencies cannot handle small or
mixed quantities of supplies efficiently. Do not try to enter any of
the impacted areas. There is little food, fuel and water in those
areas and your spontaneous volunteer presence will drain already
critical resources.
